Hi, I’m Joanne. I grew up in the Kawartha Lakes, where forests, sparkling lakes, and winding trails were the backdrop of my childhood. Camping under the stars, hiking through the woods, and spending long summer days by the water filled me with a sense of wonder that has never left me.

Every holiday was spent on my family’s farm in the Eastern Townships, nestled among mountains, forests, and lakes. Those days were filled with family coming together, laughter echoing through the mountains, and quiet moments of peace in the hills and trees. It was in these places that I learned how deeply nature connects us, not just to the land, but to each other.

Both of these places shaped who I am and how I paint. Through my landscapes, I hope to share that same comfort, magic, and sense of belonging that I feel when I return to the places I call home.
